A data center is being built on a parcel off of Rifle Range Road, in Marshfield, Missouri. Ground has been broken and site work is well underway. KY3 first reported residents' concerns on April 22, 2026, when questions circulated about a data center planned near a power substation. Since then, the community held a town hall meeting on May 6th, and the Webster County Commission held a public meeting on May 11th at Marshfield High School — but construction has continued to move forward at the site.
